((Solo Rp for now))
Rain fell hard in the quag north of Boston as Justin trudged through the thick mud. The young, clean cut brunette half bred demon pulled his rain coat tighter around him, teal eyes focused yet worried. It was dark out. Real dark. His jeans were soaked and covered with disgustingly stagnant mud at the bottoms, and his brown work boots which were normally durable in any condition were beginning to come apart at the seams. Justin stumbled in his step as he kicked a rock trying to ascend from the mudpits he wandered through, staggering and damn near falling flat on his face were it not for the raccoon tail near his ass keeping his balance. He sighed and let go of his coat to thrust a fist into a tree. Eyes closed, tears welling, Justin couldn't believe what his own people did to him. His pitch black tee shirt went heavy on his form in less than two seconds no thanks to the bullet sized raindrops pelting his body.
Zealots, all of them. They treated the State like it was a god, like it would save them from the growing Anarchy that ran rampant beyond big city limits like River City or New Haven. The reality was, anarchy existed even within those big cities. It was a different form. River City was anarchic in the cyber sense, breaking away from government and becoming its own self sufficient entity. New Haven allowed Hellion lords to run its revamped infrastructure. The very same city that condemned those beings thirty years ago now welcomed their unholy rulers. Justin couldn't understand that. Why condemn a halfbreed for being a halfbreed, when it was a demon's sworn Hellion duty to knock up his young human mother with him, and grow their numbers? His mother protected him with all her strength and by the time he turned 30, the rest of Revere knew something was up. Why would a man of 30 still look like a teenage human ready for driving school, when his mother of 55 aged normally? It just didn't make sense!
He was exiled due to this revelation, though the people out in Revere did not quite get much information on current events. They only knew about the large scale impacts, like New Haven bowing to demon lords. Anything small, anything at all regarding the South Coast or the Isles, didn't find its way well up here. Not unless you were rich.
Justin wrapped his coat around him again, regardless of the futility behind such an action, and continued trudging forward, unaware of the stalkers chuckling darkly to themselves in the thick of the rainy wood........
