The battlements and towers of the old castle had seen better days. Nothing more than rubble after its last siege that claimed it, the ages have taken over to weather stone and gross moss and ivy. The ramparts were gouged. Battlements routed, bastions crumbled and the keep cleaved in two as if struck by a sword of God. A stone floor upper bailey was the only place seemingly whole, albeit with a crumbled tower and broken pillars littering a buttress of wall. If one stood at the correct angle, a patch of destruction could be seen from an object, or being, coming down and colliding with everything that stood in its path to reach the bailey.
A white dragon with antler like horns, red glowing eyes and long tongue. Its wings were massive. Its legs short and splayed as it rocked back on a long thin tail for balance. It let out a high pitched cry, red lightning arcing from its pallid chest, its head tipped back on long slender neck.
It shuddered.
And then it fell.
Opalescent scales scraped and rattled as the body crumbled against the stone floor, shaking the garrison against the keep nearby. A ruin of white atop a ruin of stone. Red flowed from the body, coming in a torrent as a blade was pulled free of the creature's spine at the base of its neck. A creature, a man, robbed in black and covered in armor stood upon the smote remains of the ancient castle devouring dragon. He raised his massive sword and swung hard, stopping his swing sharply with a flex of muscle and a taunt of his arm to fling blood free from his long sword. He brought it up, over his back, and sheathed the heavy weapon before reaching to his helm and lifting the snarling wolf faced visor with a clawed gauntlet. Zeron's eyes shown gold in the shadow of his helm.
