1678AY, 6 September
The airship landed on the rich soil of the land of Val Cruxia. The door opened as the stairs descended to the ground and as soon as this happened, the bare feet of the girl stepped onto them and into the land. The half breed of Athentha, the princess and owner, Rin Sakimura. Of course you would know it was her because of what she looked like. Then again maybe not.
Her eye of crimson and black looked upon the land with silence. The mongrel as many called her due to being half annoyed her so. Though not as much as being called a monster. But that was Athentha. The elders, sitting on the Their thrones growing fat with greed corruption and power were the problem. They all said not to trust her, that she would swallow them whole and bring a new wave of destruction and evil.
However, Rin had fought this for awhile trying to bring peace to the land. And for awhile she was able to keep her demon side at bay. But alas, she had begun to fall like all demons of Athentha.
Kogal, was no where to be found.
Walking down the path towards Val Cruxia, tightly wrapped under her arm was a map. And a few of the elders's claims were right. She was a monster in some regard. Though, it was bound to happen she would be like her mother. That little gem didn't come out until she ran into Garnet and he told her she was a succubus.
Another flame to throw on the fire.
Rin shrugged. Rolling her old tired bones around as she stretched. Athentha made her a monster, she would show them the monster. Of course first she would deal with the elders.
The bane of her existence.

Rin didn't realize how long the walk would be. Usually she would be in a coach or use the teleportation ports that remained in some cities. But Val Cruxia did not have any teleportation ports and the coaches weren't running today. Just her luck.
The ground became marred under her feet by the magi that ran off her at times. Rin was someone that you didn't know the complete strength to, for she never used her true power. She liked to toy with her opponents by using an oar. She had swords and magic but she loved using the oar first. It made you wonder if she took the battle seriously or not.
And even when she was the beast she still didn't show her true power.
Rin didn't use magic a lot because it weakened her. Trained in the cruelest and roughest training camps of Abosolon, Athentha, Rin was at the best of her game. And sometimes she wasn't. She didn't care either way.
Rin would tear the land asunder just to get what she wanted. She would tear Heaven asunder as well. And as it began to rain, she shrugged. People said when it rained in Athentha, Heaven was crying at the loss of the princess and peace. And she didn't care much as it wasn't her fault these events occurred. It was the elders.
But what she didn't know was she had been in the children's grasp, that the Dark Winged Beast was crafted by the children as the fourth seed. That Garnet did this because at the time the two were together and he wanted to make her stronger. Wanted to make sure she wouldn't be killed when Kogal showed his face.
Of course he wouldn't. Garnet made sure the shaman would be dragged off somewhere to heal the wounded and sick in Talia.
Rin continued walking as she tried to remember the memories she lost from being unsealed. These memories of old locked away to keep her from being the monster she once was.

What were these memories?
Placing a hand to her head, Rin sighed. How could she forget the things that happened to her so long ago? Was she really a threat to the land and its people? She didn't know the truth but she did know something. And that was that the people didn't know the truth about her, just the lies spread about her.
Were these lies so bad though?
As she made her way into the city, the looks the townspeople gave her showed everything. How they ran so fast into their houses just resonated the hate and anger bubbling inside her. And in one fell swoop, she swung her hand towards the market, as a beam of light left her hand. The build up from her anger allowed it to flow forth and demolish the buildings.
The people scattered then.
Rin tilted her head. She didn't care that she had injured people. It was more that people would run. Why would they run? They all had the same fate. They would become the monsters they hid inside. She would bring them to their knees, slowly torturing and making them feel the way that she did.
In the end there would be no heroes to save the day.

Her hand was grabbed then as she looked over her shoulder. She said nothing as her crimson black orb fell on the knight. The knight was a man who she knew from her childhood, even trained with her. How coldly she looked upon this man as if that didn't matter now. That he was just like the rest of the festering plague. Her heart iced over from everything done to her, as she tried to rip her arm out of his grasp.
Apollo... that was his name.
A popular one from the human world. Though she couldn't remember much. His yellow orange eyes showed that same kindness he always held even though now he faced a monster. A monster that would rip him apart. But Apollo didn't budge, he wasn't afraid. Rin grumbled as she continued to wretch her arm from his grasp.
"Why...Why do you do this? Are you really what they call you? In our time of need..."
"Let go..." she growled. "What I do is none of your concern."
But he wouldn't do what she wanted. Apollo knew better. Knew that Rin needed guidance, assurance that she wasn't the bad guy. He was a knight after all, his duty came before anything else. But he didn't believe the girl he grew up with became the monster of Athentha, btinging those she came in contact with into darkness.
She couldn't be.
"...Rin, what will you gain from this? Don't you remember when we were little, how I protected you from your father. You aren't the beast they call you."
The mongrel tilted her head at the young man. She would crush him like the others.

Rin clenched her right hand into a fist as it went flying into Apollo's lower jaw. It sent his body rolling to the ground as he let go of her. Seems he wanted to save her, try to appease to her and tell her she was wrong. Rin hated that, it was like she was a child who didn't know any better.
But she did.
Apollo sat up then as he wiped the blood from his lower lip. She hadn't broken his jaw but she did do a bit of damage to his pride. He realized that she wouldn't come back, that she had chosen her path. It meant the two would have to fight and he knew then that this wasn't fair. Apollo didn't want to fight his friend.
As he unsheathed his sword, Rin took out her oar. A weapon that she loved to use as if to mock her opponent. Rin never took battle seriously. It was probably cause she was immortal or she just didn't care.
Apollo looked down for a moment. The last time he fought her was when they were training together. Back then it was a friendly spar. Here, it wouldn't be. He had to fight for his life. And Apollo hestiated. Only for a moment. Then he ran at Rin, swinging the sword to come at her right shoulder. She wasn't quick enough to block. It cut into her shoulder, the black blood dripping down in droplets.
She grumbled in pain. Apollo's sword had gotten stuck in her shoulder. He had to twist the blade to wretch it out of her. And when he did, she attacked. Her oar slamming against his torso, the oar making such a sickening smack then he cried out in pain as he tumbled once more to the ground.
Her left hand laid on her bleeding shoulder for a moment. Her crimson black orb of an eye glaring down at Apollo, ready to tear him apart. The look of a monster ready to eat. The blood that fell allowed her to unlock the energies within her, the magic that she didn't use much. It was because it made her weaker after the use.
But she would use it here.
Rin fell to her knees then as she placed her hands against the ground, her mouth moving as she chanted. The ground shook as fire pillars came rising from the earth, as they came flying at Apollo.
He didn't have time to react. He was too stunned to see what was happening. He closed his eyes as he waited for death. But it didn't come. Standing in front of him was Garnet. His spell book out and a barrier around the two. Vanilla beside Apollo as she picked him up.
She then vanished with the knight towards the elders's palace. Rin growled low. Garnet had interfered in the fight. She hated when he did that. Standing half slumped over, she glared at him.
"You're still a child. Trying to eat everyone to become a full breed. But that fight shouldn't have happened. He's not your enemy."
Rin said nothing.

"You interrupted the fight because you didn't want your precious knight hurt. You didn't want your precious elder hurt either and he's dead." Rin barked."Yet you take away my opponent because you know that I would lose. And you don't want that either."
"Rin..."
She shook her head. Garnet came here for a reason. And though he had gotten here before Apollo had seen the fury of the girl, he knew that all would suffer the same fate. He closed the book and slid his glasses up the bridge of his nose. In truth it was his fault this happened. It was he who unsealed her the first time. By the beheast of the children. His order as always was to keep the beast a part of the plan.
Unfortunately, Kogal had at the time was strong enough to kill her, not the same man he was now. However Vanilla had taken care of that. She had tricked the shaman into the land of Talia with some landish tale of need and help. It was here that, in the first time they were together, Garnet made her into a seed.
The fourth seed.
It was to replace another seed that had vanished. He hadn't told Rin because of his feelings for her. Garnet was a man who didn't like a lot of people, he looked down on the races of others, except for two. Vanilla and Rin.
As his eerie golden eyes laid back upon the half breed, he knew that she still wanted to fight. He noticed the wound upon her left shoulder, made by Apollo's sword no less. The blade matched the bloodied sword marks in her skin. Garnet also noticed the black blood still dripping from her skin and the ground marred by the fire pillar magic.
She ran at Garnet then, her right fist outstretched as the claws came at his left cheek. The alabaster hand of the seed caught hers as she muttered low. He was only faster because of the magi she had used earlier.
"You really think that?" Garnet asked again. "Do you really think I care about the elders when you're the bigger threat? I saw what you did to Val Roux. How they sat there and ate the ore, did nothing but eat it. They forgot their families, their jobs, everything to eat the ore."
"What's your point?" Rin asked then.
"And then they became demons. They murdered and did the most unholy of things. I saw this was your work. What is your plan? What do you hope to accomplish?"
Garnet's voice held such worry. He usually was a man of confidence. But Rin wasn't the same woman as before. She was using a different kind of weapon against the people of Athentha. She shook her head and looked at him then.
"I'm using what I always had. Power. Are you afraid? Are you curious? What I'm doing will bring back Athentha into the glorious old days. And when I'm done, even the children will be mine."
Garnet said nothing in his fear. She was delusional. She had to be. What was she doing? Why was she doing this? Rin didn't answer the question.

He was definitely afraid. Afraid of what he created and what she had become during her time away from his grasp. Rin wretched her arm free from Garnet as she smirked at him. That look told him everything he needed to know, that she no longer would be the weak and defenseless. Rin was going to take what she wanted.
By force even.
Garnet watched as the half breed leaned on her oar. She didn't move towards Garnet as she stared him down with that crimson black orb of an eye. The other useless and broken due to when she was first the beast and ravaged the land of Athentha. Now, she had to rely on the remaining one. For now. Garnet opened the spell book as he looked at her with those golden eyes of his.
"I'm afraid that your game is over. What my plan is, you desire to know? I'll let you in on a plot point. I'm going to finish what my father started. I will become full. And when I do, you better run."
Rin of course at the moment was toying with Garnet. She could tear him apart right now if she desired. But she also knew that spell book, the spells he could use to seal her. At least a portion of her power. She ran at him trying to grab the book, it was futile.
It disappeared before she could reach it. Garnet had made sure the book could not be out of his reach by placing protective spells upon it. And he had Vanilla do the same. It was their tactic as they needed to be prepared. They were going after the half breed.
Rin grumbled. Garnet looked at her, fear hidden behind those glasses. He had no plan. Rin was something else. And he knew it the minute the two met. Garnet held his sword slightly, but it would not be good enough. He relied heavily on his magic.
And he cursed himself for this.
"You allowed yourself to become like what the elders said you are. You have fallen to their claims. And yet you don't care?" Garnet said as his sword and her oar hit each other. "You have become your father."
Rin glared then. That was the one thing that pushed any button she had, being compared to her father. She pushed heavily on the oar as her foot slid into the earth, as it was marred with her dark magic. The half breed was hungry. Hungry for blood.
For violence.
"Fuck you. Fuck you and the children. You can swallow all your condensing preaching until you choke on it and die."
Rin then pushed with such a violent wind of energy until Garnet fell to the ground. The sword flying away from him. The half breed standing over him with such venom.

Rin raised her oar then as she looked at the first seed. How the fear in his golden eyes showed now. That he could see where and what she was going to do. It made his lip quiver. He didn't shake, didn't whimper. But it was known he was more afraid of the girl then ever before in his life.
The oar came down then as he reacted. His hand grabbing the oar and with the strength he needed tossed it aside. Rin would not destroy him here. He would fight until his last breath. The look on her face was one of annoyance and anger. Her treasured oar tossed aside like it was nothing.
Like she was nothing.
Rin reached down and grabbed the front collar of his shirt with her right hand. Garnet continued to stare at her with those fierce golden eyes now. She lifted him up until they were face to face. Garnet knew that upsetting the half breed was a crime punishable by death. But both here were immortal, how the hell would that work out?
"I am nothing like my father. He wanted to rule the islands by killing all life and starting over. I plan to enslave the land with the ore. Make them into the monsters they hide, and bring Athentha back into the old age."
"You will fail."
These were the only words Garnet said as he watched her raise her left hand. Rin was about to strike as an arrow came flying from the air and landed in her left shoulder. It flung her into the red oak tree nearby and she dropped Garnet.
Vanilla appeared then as she looked at the half breed. No hate, no anger in those mixed colored eyes. She just fired another arrow to pin the princess into the tree and grabbed Garnet.
"We'll have to play again some other time princess." Vanilla said with a smile. "It's Garnet's nap time."
Vanilla then fired off a teleport stone as a portal opened. She picked up Garnet and the two hopped through. Vanilla would protect Garnet with her life. Besides she couldn't wait to see what Rin had planned. She loved seeing the half breed work.
As they exited into the portal, Garnet looked back at Rin, her face showing nothing but a look of utter annoyance. And then they were gone.
++++++++
The portal opened into the hub of Scuyla Ze, as Vanilla let go of Garnet. He dusted himself off as he looked at the second seed. She was quick with retreiving him but at the same time grateful she came. Vanilla just smiled as she sat on the ledge of the bridge.
They indeed were in trouble.
"Well wasn't that an interesting meeting?" Vanilla asked as she looked at him. "Though she didn't need to handle you like that."
"We are in trouble." Garnet resonated. "The girl's plan is different than we anticipated. And off course from the one we thought she take. We need to regroup and replan..."
Vanilla saw the look in his eyes. Something he wasn't telling her. And she didn't like it.

The clothed figures stood there before Garnet and Vanilla. The children that ran the organization. They didn't know that the half breed would come down this path so quickly. That she had turned from her original planning. Garnet eyed their bosses and sighed. This was a big problem to draw out them. For they were barely ever seen and Garnet had to do most of the work at times.
Which he didn't mind for he loved being the cruel business man.
"Well, it seems things have turned to that prophecy. I didn't think she would go down the path her father wanted her to. At the same time, it means that we have to change our course of action too." The head child said.
"Wait." Vanilla said as she looked at them all. "You mean it isn't what we intentionally planned? Crap..."
Garnet shook his head. It seemed she had forgotten their two ways of planning. And he wanted to see what the half breed was going to do honestly.
"We will have to change our game plan. I hope you remember we need the girl because she's become one of us." The second robed child spoke.
Garnet sighed. He remembered quite clearly why he made the mongrel a seed. But here it was more of what he wanted. But this prophecy the boss said intrigued him.
"Yes of course." Garnet said. "I didn't know she had planned to use the ore. No one of Athentha remembers the ore, but the half breed... Smart lass."
Vanilla was still lost but she of course followed without question. But was Rin really that feared? Even by the children? And was it the second prophecy coming forth and not the first?
She didn't know but she did know that if the second one came forth no one was safe. Rin was one fueled by her emotions, by her pain.
Garnet looked at Vanilla then. They were off. The children said nothing more as Garnet called off this meeting now. He was tired of meeting with the children when he knew what must be done.
"By the way, you're no longer needed. The organization is mine now." Garnet mused. "And it will be mine now for I've done all the hard work. Good day."
Vanilla shrugged and followed Garnet leaving the children standing there confused and dumbfounded.

The mood was tense as the two walked. Neither said a word as Garnet sighed. He knew that the children wouldn't just hand over the organization just like that. He wasn't that blind or stupid. But he was right, it was him doing all the hard work, all the business growth was from him and his decisions. And like all businessmen, he was tired of doing all the work for someone else without the credit. Vanilla looked at him from time to time, those mixed colored eyes confused and unsure of what was to come next.
Especially with the half breed running around.
Garnet looked at Vanilla now with those eerie golden eyes. Those cold eyes that barely showed any emotion he held except anger. Yet he didn't know what he just did but he knew that it was time to get this dying organization into order. When was the last time they turned a hume (human) into a seed or even an artifact? When was the last time they did something other than meetings or talks?
It had grown stagnant.
"Garnet?" Vanilla stuttered as she was breaking the ice that came from the last development. Though she was nervous from what wrath Garnet would spit upon her. "The children might kill you for your usurping. The last time someone did that, we never saw them again. I think that was the fourth seed Luna. That's why we needed the princess... Wasn't it?"
"Doesn't matter." Garnet said with a calm tone. "I'm taking control now. We will go back to the way it was. We need to make something like the half breed to contain her. The shaman you detained must know something. We will have to start there. And we don't have time. You saw the ore. It's an old Athenthian ore, the Sunburst Midnight Ore. The last time anyone used that was during Absolon's rule."
"That old eh? Why would she use an ore that's so old?"
Garnet didn't say as he continued down the path towards their next destination. It was the city of Rydsa. They would gather an airship there to Sol-Morwenna. That was the last place Vanilla placed the shaman. In a dungeon to keep him out of the way.
Of course the problem was they were short on time.

1678AY, 9 September Outside Val Cruxia Tuesday, 2:00P.M
Rin shook her head. The half breed knew that the elders and children were faltering. That they gave into their own desires and greed without helping the people they promised to. And in the end it was always the same. But her being here in the state that she was, no longer the good half that she started this all in.
Heaven began to cry as the rain fell now. Wanting to have her turn around and return home the way she used to be. However that would never be again. The memories that returned to her twisted her into a monster hell bent on revenge. Sitting there she could recall everything her father did to her.
All the pain, all the torture.
She clenched her fists at her sides as her anger rose. In that moment alone, tears fell down her face mixing with the ever cold falling rain. How Athentha fell apart because of the events that came to be, because she wasn't strong enough to keep them from sealing her away. And how she watched the ones who pretended to love her erase the memories of old.
In everything that happened, she blamed every one involved. In the end it would fall full circle to the change that would come. Looking up at the sky, she cursed the heavens above and the earth below. She shook the tears away as she moved forward now.
Relaxing her hands flat now, Rin reached into the pockets of her coat, pulling forth a multi colored rock. The Sunburst Midnight Ore. She stared at it with her one eye. She had heard if you fed it to a lot of people and then performed the ritual of old it would make you the perfect Dark Winged Beast.
And also a full bred demon.
Rin knew what she would do next. Ascend so she could take down the elders.

youtu.be/6kcsqNFnccYStanding there as the wind blew threw the ebony blue curled hair of the half breed she eyed the one before her with that hateful orb of crimson and black. She saw a figure standing there. A knight clad in the armor of Talia. Her armor showed the Phoenix rising from the ashes of old. It was silver and yellow colored. She muttered low. Talians usually kept their nose out of others affairs. But Manah was a knight of justice. And she didn't care who was the problem she would destroy it and bring forth the peace. Rin scoffed. Though she saw Manah as only a dinner piece. Nothing more. However Rin also knew that this would not be an easy fight. Manah was the leader of the Yellow Leaf Brigade. A group of knights she had tried to disband twice now. A group she wanted dead. The Yellow Leaf Brigade was named after the yellow Leaf trees of Talia. Trained in the human and demon ways of military and fighting, some times intense. They were like demon hunters and acquired a few of them as well from Athentha. The only famous one being Vex. Manah looked at Rin with her heterochromatic crimson and black eyes. She was not afraid of the half breed. Not yet anyways. She held her spear then as the two stared each other down. No one moved, no said a word. But it was here the two would fight. "Blazing Tail!" Manah called forth as she drove the spear at Rin. And then spears of holy light pierced at Rin's body. Rin slid back as she grumbled in pain. Her black blood spattering the ground with the attack now. She looked up, gritting her teeth in pain. The holy magic was like a deep cut to her skin. It hurt her more than she thought due to her demonic half. But if she was in pain, Rin didn't show the true effect. It threw Manah off. Why did Rin act so mighty? Like her pain was the only pain? Like she had to inflict everyone with the guilt of the past? The knight didn't know but she would not fail here. Rin had to see the light, the justice and the peace of the innocents she destroyed and decayed. She had to see the darkness was not a path to take to get vengeance. It had to be changed. Had to be stopped. "Fafnir Wings!" She cried again. A golden blade of light pierced Rin as she attacked again. It made the half breed slam into the trees then. She cried in pain as more of her black blood littered the ground. Manah watched as Rin didn't fight back. Why didn't she move? Attack? Manah hated not knowing how the other didn't attack. Didn't move. Rin stood half slumped as she looked at Manah with such venom. How she had used two holy attacks against her. How she wanted to stop her from acheiveing what she wanted. Rin would torture the girl once she won the fight and make her into such a terrible demon. She smirked at the thought. "You should walk away little girl. You have no idea what you fight. The Yellow Leaf Brigade will die with you. I assure you." Rin taunted. Manah didn't give into the taunt. Rin then came running at the knight with her claw outstretched towards Manah's torso. As it ripped against Manah's skin, she cried in pain, a burning ripped through her entire body. She slid back as she spit out the bright red blood. Seems this was not going to be an easy battle. Rin smirked. She wasn't done. Moving back her hands moved forward and aimed at the girl. Her body glowed then as they formed dark matter arrows. The magi came crashing at the Knight's body making her roll onto the ground with such a shattering scream. Pain ripped through Manah as Rin watched her. Gripping the spear, the knight pulled herself up, her skin searing where the attack hit her. Manah couldn't give up. She wouldn't let Rin eat her. Twist her into a monster.

youtu.be/zDXgbdhj5ZcFast. Manah wasn't counting on her being fast. Even though she was in pain, the knight knew that she had to carry on. Her drive for peace pushed past the cruel triumph of Rin's last two attacks. What kind of dark old magi did the half breed princess possess? How many innocent people did she marr and eat along the way? She held her shoulder for a moment as she looked at Rin. Leaning on her oar she stood there half slumped over. The mongrel was curious to see how the knight would proceed. Proceed with the dark energy running on her veins from the arrow attack. It was like she was toying with Manah. And she probably was. It was what Rin said that bothered her. That this all for nothing. That she too would fall. And that Rin wasn't using her full strength. Did she ever? Manah didn't move as she looked at her opponent. Her father's words resonating through her ears. And she frowned. She was disappointing him again. Manah was never worthy in the eyes of her father no matter what she tried. But here. It was time she did this for herself. Holding her spear she ran at the half breed then. It was held in the air as it came down upon her torso. If only that was the cause. The half breed caught the spear then and ripped it from Manah's hand. Rin tossed it aside. Oh how this wasn't going well for the knight. Rin then grabbed her oar and brought it hard down against her torso like she was going to do to the half breed. Her arms outward to block the attack. Thank god she did for it lessened the blow. She slid back then once more. The sky cracked with thunder as the rain came falling down. Heaven once more crying. Manah felt the weight of the world upon her shoulders. But she would not give in so easily. Rin grumbled. She hated long battles and she was ever so hungry. "Please... You don't have to do it this way." Manah pleaded. Rin came at the girl again as Manah's pleas fell on death ears. Manah watched as the magi came forth from the beast once more. This time the ground shook as Rin slammed her hands against the ground. Rising forth were water pillars. They came rushing forth as they slammed into the knight. The water magi hitting her hard as it the wounds opened upon Manah. She was covered in scars and blood. "All you have to do is kneel. End this by ending your life to me. No one will come out of this a hero. Everyone will pay. Everyone will become twisted. You all sowed the seeds that led to this path. You can not repent now and pretend it will fix everything." Manah looked down then as she was forming her next line of attack.

Manah stood then as she knew that she had to attack. And it had to count. Everything so far had failed. And Rin wasn't happy either, the knight could tell. The last three attacks were not enough to kill but maim. And it did leave wounds and scars upon her body.
So there was that.
Manah sighed. Rin, was something no one could ever figure out. And that was a danger all its own. Yet Manah had to figure this out. And fast. The half breed muttered as she came at Manah with her oar again. Only this time Manah was prepared.
"Freeze Claw!" Manah yelled.
It came now, the giant icicles fell from the sky against Rin's body. Rin grumbled in pain as it hit her yet it wasn't done. Rin didn't see the sword come at her. It struck her torso as more blood came from the wound. It covered the ground mixing with the rain.
How could Manah stop an immortal?

Rin wiped the blood from her mouth as she stood up. The look in her eye showed that she still wasn't being serious in a fight that was supposed to be one. The half breed sized up the girl debating what she would turn the knight into once she was done playing with her. So many possibilities, so many dark and unholy things that could come forth.
The half breed came walking towards the girl. Manah watched as she knew that Rin would be preparing another magi attack. Then again who knew what the hell she was thinking. The knight grabbed one of her swords as she rushed at Rin, swinging it at the half breed's legs.
The black blood then came splatting against the ground as she had grabbed the sword. And with a few pulls and tugs she wretched it free and tossed it aside. It was here the Battle would be decided. Manah had to do something big if she wanted to win
"Voice of Audhumla!" She cried as Arrows of lightning seek out and destroy the enemy. And her enemy was Rin.
The attack exploded and lit up the air with electricity and magi. It was dead silent as the cloud rose up and then dissapited. Rin sat there on the ground, wounded heavily from the attack. Of course not dead, but greatly wounded. Manah fell to her knees, the big attack had drained her heavily.
Rin's eye opened then as she picked herself up and stood slumped over. Manah looked up in dread and shock as she didn't kill the half breed. What the hell was she made of? What protection was put in place to keep her alive? The knight didn't know but she quaked with fear as Rin stood before her now.
"A desperate attack, I commend you for keeping me entertained for so long. But I'm hungry and tired of playing with my food." Rin said as she picked Manah up by her hair. Their eyes meeting then. "No hero is coming to save you, no hero will save the land. You have lost."
"Why?!" Manah yelled out as she tried to escape the half breed's grasp by kicking and scratching. "Tell me why!"
"A last request. I will tell you why before I turn you into something despicable to destroy your name. Everyone set this into motion the day I was born. I am getting retribution, resolve. They wanted a monster, they got one. That's why. Blame them."
Manah said nothing as she knew that this was the end. Not knowing the words behind what Rin said. But at the same time she thought she knew what had happened. Manah had read about it. About the stories of the last Demon King. How he destroyed his children to create a legend.
Rin said nothing as she then ate Manah. Her fangs diving into her flesh. As she chewed the bones and flesh, the organs and tissues. The knight screamed in pain as she was being erased. Rin continued to eat until the knight was gone.
And then, she sat there. Rin was remaking Manah into something despicable and dark. For now she was alone. Her eye closed as she began to channel the old magi, it would take a few hours to begin the process of making a new Manah. For Rin hadn't decided yet on the new form.
